My blog and book have had a couple of media mentions this month.
The blog got in there first with a starring role in an article in the Evening Times, but the book was following hot on its heels with a feature in the i-on Glasgow magazine.
Both are now basking in their fifteen minutes of fame and fighting over who got the most column inches...

I hope you have done well with your book Alexis, I picked it up in Waterstones in Putney back in January and really enjoyed it. Have you gotten into the US market at all?
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you liked the book - I notice you're also a fan of the £5 a day way of keeping tabs on yourself. I love your blog (I Will Be Debt Free) and it must inspire so many people.
ReplyDeleteMy book is available Stateside through Amazon.com, but hasn't been individually published there. I'd love if it was!
The book was great. I await the next one. I think it should be entitled "Things I've found in the wardrobe that others covet". I merely mention this cos of some of the shoes you've been wearing of late.
ReplyDeleteI was in Dune the other day but there was nothing as delicious as the hot pink sandals you were wearing when last we met.
I love the idea! Any excuse for us to have a rummage in my wardrobe and for you to try on all my shoes.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at how much pleasure I get from finding these things and finally giving them a proper outing. Strangely, it's actually a bigger thrill than when I bought them in the first place - probably because they don't have the guilty attached to them any more.
