World Holocaust Week

It's World Holocaust Week and today I was privileged enough to meet Eva Schloss, the step-sister of Anne Frank.

It was both humbling and captivating listening to Eva today, so if you can, please take the time to find out more about the story of her life by clicking here.

We all have problems in our lives - some big and some small - but sometimes it just takes finding out about the courage of others and their struggle for survival to put it all into perspective.

  1. I read Anne Franks Diary and was reduced to tears by her story.

Yes I will read Eva,s life story.

Strangely enough it is my youngest Granddaughter,s second birthday this week, and her name is Eva.....

  2. It's frightening to read about their lives and realise that while it wasn't that long ago, there are still people living through horrendous circumstances because of war.

On a lighter note - Happy Birthday to little Eva. Will Gran be spoiling her on the big day?

    A xx
